Meet Our Providers
Katie Novak and Calli Berman met each other while working at an addiction medicine office. Early on, both realized they worked well together as they developed a friendship in addition to being coworkers. At times they’ve jokingly been referred to as the “dynamic duo”, partially inspiring the name of Dynamic Healthcare. Katie and Calli share a passion for quality patient care, and each balances the other’s strengths and weaknesses by working as a team.
Katherine (Katie) Novak, PA-C
Katie was in the University of Detroit Mercy’s
Accelerated 5-Year Physician Assistant Program where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015 and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2017. Her hobbies include reading, sewing, and going to Lions games with her family. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, and has a passion for dogs. Katie developed an interest in addiction medicine when she was in her first year of PA school and went to an inpatient rehab facility for an assignment and thought “I can see myself doing this when I graduate.” She then did a rotation the next year in an addiction medicine office and knew it was what she wanted to do.
